IAHS-Deutschland

International Association of Hydrological Sciences

Die IAHS ist eine von acht Vereinigungen (s.u.), die gemeinsam die International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) bilden. Die Tätigkeit der IAHS beinhaltet alle Bereiche der Hydrologie mit dem Ziel der Förderung der Diskussion, des Vergleichs und der Veröffentlichung wissenschaftlicher Ergebnisse und der Initiierung und Koordination von Forschungsarbeiten, die eine internationale Kooperation erfordern.

Die acht Vereinigungen sind :

International Association of Geodesy (IAG)
International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy (IAGA)
International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS)
International Association of Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences (IAMAS)
International Association for the Physical Sciences of the Oceans (IAPSO)
International Association of Seismology and Physics of the Earth's Interior (IASPEI)
International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior (IAVCEI)
